This first-of-its-kind festival offers audiences two rotating programs of new, professionally produced, visually compelling, 15-minute sci-fi plays - all performed live on stage at the famous ACME Theatre in Hollywood. FUTURE BOYFRIEND: A hilarious new short film (direct from the Tribecca Film Festival) that began as a short play at Sci-Fest LA. Plus, more Sci-Fi shorts at this special screening event & fundraiser for Sci-Fest. May 21 only.
ALLEN HOOPER CASTING WORKSHOP: Sci-Fest offers a casting workshop for LA actors with Casting Associate Allen Hooper ("Modern Family"). Very limited enrollment available for this terrific 3-hour workshop. May 23.
THE TOMORROW PRIZE: Sci-Fest's annual short story contest for LA Area High School students. The finalists' stories are read by celebrity presenters, and prizes are awarded. May 14.
